Wolfe Street Academy Places 2nd in Hopkins Science Fair

Congratulations to Wolfe Street Academy for placing 2nd at the Johns Hopkins Medicine, East Baltimore Community Affairs 2013 Science Fair! The entire 5th grade should be proud of this accomplishment. Thank you to East Baltimore Community Affairs for donating $850 to Wolfe Street's science department. Thank you also to Carolyn Chance, East Baltimore Community Affairs Program Development Manager, for making this opportunity possible for our students.

Each year, area elementary schools are invited to Johns Hopkins to participate in the Community Science Fair. Each school is allowed to submit 3 projects for judging by Johns Hopkins faculty and staff, BCPS's administrative staff, and a special guest judge. First, second and third place prizes are awarded based on projects that exemplify ingenuity, clarity and presentation using the scientific method criteria.

Congratulations to all of the 2013 Community Science Fair Winners!
