Child First/City Springs Door Knocking Day
Child First Community School Coordinator of City Springs
Elementary/Middle School, Simone Garrison, organized an inspiring door knocking
event on August 15th, 2013. The City Springs attendance team, along with
the help of network staff and Child First community school
coordinators and organizers, knocked on over four hundred doors.
They
handed out packets of information on back to school dates and Mayor
Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's "Back to School Rally" this Saturday. In
addition, the team was able to provide the community with resources to a
variety of services including housing, food, health, mental health and
more. It is the team's goal to continue community outreach through door knocking
events as the year progresses
